The next RED School will be March 15-21, 2026
Here’s the team of teachers in charge of this year’s courses, with whom you’ll have the opportunity to interact
After getting my PhD on “Production and destruction of lithium in stars and cosmological implications” at IRAP in the beautiful city of Toulouse, I did a postdoc in Geneva and got a job back in Toulouse at CNRS. I had the privilege to spend some time as an invited visitor at SCScI in Baltimore, MPA in Garching, ISSI in Bern and INT in Seattle. Since 2010, I have been a professor in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Geneva (UniGe). I became the head of the Department in July 2025. I have had the pleasure of supervising or co-supervising 15 excellent doctoral students and 8 post-doctoral fellows (and many Master or Bachelor students), of whom I am very proud. I was one of the four official mentors working for the Service Égalité et Diversité at UniGe for 10 years. In that time, I mentored over 60 women of all fields who aimed to pursue an academic career. I chaired several international science committees and conferences, and I am the co-author of several collective books on different topics in Astrophysics.
